MIKROLATEST BP/ SENSILATEST are antibiotic susceptibility testing panels based on bacterial growth in breakpoint concentrations, of defined antibiotics.

Breakpoints refer to standards of the European Committee for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST issued in 2011). Most antibiotics are represented by two (and in some cases one or three) breakpoint concentrations, which enable the interpretation of either: sensitive, intermediate or resistant.
